Couple's Modern Retreat

The room had top quality finishes and was very modern, just what we needed after a long day. The manager was super welcoming and made us feel right at home.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but still acceptable.

A comfortable stay, along with a very spacious layout which made it feel like home. Although the bathroom lighting was high quality, it was a bit harsh at times. it was a lovely experience.

Loved the free laundry and kitchen utensils. the fridge was a bit noisy.

The room I stayed in was a bit smoky!!! Shower drain had a terrible smell!!! The blinds let in too much light making sleep nearly impossible!!!

Room was nice and tidy, and the bed felt like a cloud—so comfy! Super friendly chommies at reception made everything smooth. props for the heaters being turned on before I arrived, was a lekker touch!

Only drawback was the noisy fridge that kept me on my toes at night!

We appreciated the spacious apartment layout, allowing us to relax without disturbing each other. The fully equipped kitchen made meal preparation easy, and the central location was perfect for accessing nearby amenities and attractions.

The front door of our apartment had a persistent squeak, which was mildly annoying.

Had a cozy stay in a one-bedroom apartment. The kitchen was better than expected, making cooking super easy. Plus, the staff were super friendly. Only bummer was the heating took a bit to kick in. The countdown market nearby was super convenient for snacks and stuff.

I had a lovely stay at Birchwood Manor. The unit felt modern, roomy, and incredibly clean. It stayed warm, perfect for the chilly Invercargill weather. I appreciated the fully stocked cooking facilities. I could easily prepare meals. The location stood out, with a supermarket right across the street and just a 15-minute walk to the city center. The cleaning staff were very approachable when I had questions, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. On the downside, my unit had an issue. the front door squeaked loudly every time it opened. I worried I was bothering neighbors. my room had a slightly bright ceiling light, making it feel harsh sometimes. the positives outweighed the negatives, and I’d be happy to stay here again.

The location is convenient with a supermarket and restaurants nearby. The shower has no lip, causing water spillage.
